Books-A-Million considers its website the largest store in its chain, so Happy Cog was charged with ensuring the flagship represented the company as a customer-focused, forward-thinking expert. Happy Cog’s engagement began with a comprehensive audit of the detailed flow documentation that Books-A-Million had painstakingly and diligently assembled. After Happy Cog validated and augmented those pathways, exciting visual approaches to surfacing recommendations, related content, and social sharing were implemented alongside an omnipresent shopping cart.

Books-A-Million recognized and advocated the need to prioritize a pervasive cart experience.

Through the redesigned cart, users are capable of viewing the contents of their cart real-time as well as empowered to begin the checkout process, all without leaving the page.
