Greg Hoy
President—Happy Cog Philadelphia
Greg is a well-respected industry veteran with nearly two decades of interactive design and leadership experience with Fortune 100 companies and consulting agencies, including Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster, Safeco Insurance, FullTilt Solutions and Electronic Ink. Greg also owned and operated a successful web-based retail business as well as his own user experience consulting firm.
In 2005, Greg launched and led Pixelworthy, a standards-based Web design and development firm in Philadelphia, which quickly gained notoriety as a respected leader in user-centric design. While at Pixelworthy, he assembled a network of top-notch independent designers and developers, many of whom are now with Happy Cog.
In 2006, Greg and Jeffrey Zeldman worked together to launch Happy Cog Philadelphia, expanding Happy Cog’s geographical reach and ability to serve clients.
Greg has managed client relationships with hundreds of organizations, notably AOL, Ameriprise Financial, AstraZeneca, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Comcast, Microsoft, New York Stock Exchange, SEI Investments, Sungard, Thomson Corporation and Wyeth.
